While it is a discipline, being a martial art it should also have a practical side. I’ll stick in a Machida Highlight into the post, you should definitely check it out.
Your take on quantity is probably the most astute. Perhaps not in this particular restaurant’s case, but I know people who love Cici’s Pizza simply because it’s the cheapest pizza buffet ever. It’s also some of the worst pizza ever.
And yes, vegetables can steal the show. Matter of fact, my brother and I ate at Bobby Flay’s restaurant in Atlantic City. The steak was good, but nothing to get a Food Network show on, but the asparagus was F’n amazing.
You know what, you’re absolutely right. This woman shouldn’t have to pay back the money she borrowed. After all, it’s not like SHE signed the contract with the creditor, she was forced into it. It’s not like SHE CHOSE to make purchases that she couldn’t afford, she was forced to.
This is EXACTLY like the tyrannical government that the founders fought. The day you’re born, you’re issued a credit card and with out your choice, you’re forced to charge things to it.
Thank you for changing my mind. I’m now of the mind that choices don’t have consequences. We should all do exactly what we want to without any fear of repercussions because that’s just how life should work.
You can do that if you’re having a discussion about the bigger picture, but when you’re having a discussion about something like healthcare, if you are completely opposite on the big picture stuff, it’s going to be difficult to find common ground on the smaller things. That’s what I’m tired of.
Great points. I really wish I had payed more attention to my philosophy class in college instead of trying to decide whether chewy or hard Sprees were better.
I’m not saying they’ll be good with the money. If anything, the government has shown they’re extremely bad with money and only truly look at the short term. If they get complete control of health insurance, it won’t be good.
Thanks, Tom. Honestly though, this may be a positive for my comedy career. I won’t feel guilty leaving home for a few days knowing there’s plenty of people around to help. Also, I think with the way things are now anyway, you don’t necessarily need to live in the NY or LA to make a name for yourself.
I do encourage his imagination, that’s why he has so many paints and crayons and what not. I don’t think this product is very good and, if anything, I think it discourages creativity in that the substance is so unworkable that almost anything you want to make turns out looking like the same lump of goo, you give up.
Having glasses is part of the problem because the 3D specks don’t fit right, but there’s something about the glasses themselves that don’t work well with me. So, even if the movie were built around the 3D blabity blah, I still probably couldn’t watch it because it hurts my eyes.
On the home front though, there may be hope. I checked out a 3D TV product in Japan that actually worked fairly well.
I hope they can get Fedor. It’d be interesting to see what he can do.
Should he beat Brock, who’s left for Fedor? And that’s in the whole world.
Should Brock win, what will all the die hard fans say?
What more do you want? I did the 4 weeks, I liked it, I’m going to continue with it. I’m not Morgan Spurlock here, there’s not going to be a documentary released.

Moving and a Little Something Else.
September 29th, 2009 at 8:10 pmI loved meeting you guys as well. We’ll definitely stay in touch. I’m sure I’ll always come up with a reason to talk to someone with real talent.
Moving and a Little Something Else.
September 29th, 2009 at 5:27 pmNo idea when the last show will be. We haven’t actually set a move date yet, so it’s tough to say.
Skype might be the way to go, but that’s if everybody’s on board for it.

Batman Villain Factory
September 19th, 2009 at 9:52 amCool, yes. However, if Gotham is interested in rehabilitating it’s criminals, they might want to consider some paint.
Lazy is an Art
August 26th, 2009 at 8:03 amYou might be able to save more than my brother, but I’ll guarantee you can’t touch him when it comes to the ability to be lazy.
Girl Fights, No Thanks
August 17th, 2009 at 7:11 pmNo, I won’t be watching DWTS unless Chuck is kicking people in the head on purpose.

Fat Head Movie
July 13th, 2009 at 5:36 pmIf you really want a shock, pick up “Good Calories, Bad Calories” by Gary Taubes. It’s almost stunning at how misinformed we are.
